Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Marita de Lara Sobel is a professional dancer, choreographer, singer, and actress. She was a soloist with The Metropolitan Ballet in Baltimore and danced with the Washington Ballet. A dance injury in NYC encouraged her to study Pilates. She specializes in teaching movement to the uncoordinated and rhythmically challenged.
